USE OF CLUB FACILITIES
The Club facilities on Centennial Drive are available for all members to use. The following guidelines are to help ensure that the facilities are used to benefit all members.
- The kitchen, shower and toilet facilities are available for all members to use, and must be left clean and tidy after use (the shower mat needs to be hung to dry).
- The club rooms are NOT to be used for private personal use or as sleeping quarters.
- Members’ personal stone sculpture tools may be stored in the “tractor” container. Tools should be stored in a compact, tidy manner (preferable in containers), and not restrict access. Storage of larger personal items (such as tripods etc) needs to be discussed with the Property Manager first.
- Any maintenance issues regarding the club facilities or equipment should be recorded in the Issues Register held in the Club Rooms.
- Alert the Property Manager directly about any urgent or significant issues. Any safety issues must be reported as soon as possible.
- Members may photocopy or print items on the printer. Spare paper is in the desk drawer. Follow the instructions carefully (on the lid). Please turn off and cover computer and printer after use.
- The trailer hoist and the tractor may be used to lift and turn rocks. Put away after using.
- ALWAYS SECURELY LOCK the club rooms and containers when the club rooms are left unattended, or you are the last to leave the site.
TWO KINDS OF MEMBERS
- You may apply to be a financial member who wishes to sculpt stone or an associate member who wishes to support the mission of Te Kupenga in other ways. Both kinds are considered equal. Both may vote at meetings and hold elected office or take on other support roles. Associate members do not pay the annual subscription. Financial (carving) members pay an annual subscription at the rate set by the last AGM.
- Your membership will lapse if we have not heard from you for over a year and/or your annual fee (if applicable) has not been paid for over 12 months (unless leave has been granted).
- See the MEMBERSHIP page on this website for more information.
