  • I  am  what people call me. A  bare foot Swiss Maori, eccentric in my ways, holistic and universal in my thinking, expansive and  ever evolving in my actions. I love stone, all types of stone and have had the privilege of working intimately with most stone Nationally and many Internationally.
  • I whakapapa to Whaingaroa Raglan district where I lived, learned and pursued my passion of working with natural mediums, resources sauced from our Whenua/ land. I have an infinity with Kohatu / Stone, it is intimate and personal, raw and real. It is not a feeling that is learnt, it is a feeling that has always been, and I am always thankful.
  • I often am told that I do not see the world as others do, yup that is true, my spectacles are mine and I see things in my unique way. I see through earthly eyes and align all I do with Ranginui (sky father) and Papatuanuku (earth mother), I seek Tongaroa (the ocean) for my inspiration, my grounding, my peace, my cleansing, my kai (food) , I go to Ngahere (the forest) for my hunting and gathering and all these things provide me with the tools, knowledge and resources to be me.
  • These are some of the values that drive me when creating, people's stories, lived experiences, the highs and lows of lived lives. I like to share what I know, express it through my works, let the art speak for me. I love shapes, and form, lines and edges, curves, arcs and bends.
  • I have been a Sculptor for 25 years and It is who I am….
