Nici Palmer is a mixed media artist from Taranaki, she works predominantly in hard stone, Pounamu jade, Andesite, Basalt, Granite and N.Z. Marble. 
She has a diploma in Art and Design/Pattern making from WITT Taranaki.
 
Her work in stone began in 2000, before that time, she worked with several mediums in a professional capacity including, photography, paint, fashion design and construction and Installations. More recently she has begun to do original tattoo design and application. She incorporates the use of all these mediums into creative ventures and contemporary art works.   
She has previously exhibited in boutique galleries, sculpture
parks and homeshow exhibitions in New Zealand. She has been sculpting and exhibiting in symposia around New Zealand since 2001. She works from her home studio in nth Taranaki.
