The Club

Te Kupenga Stone Sculpture Society owns club rooms on Centennial Drive (below Paritutu Rock) New Plymouth.

On the first full weekend of each month, members gather for two days of sculpting in the grounds. Visitors are welcome to come and view the work in progress. Large works are left in situ over the months they  take to complete. Finished works for sale are on outside display.

Members find it helpful to come together to work as they can exchange information and more experienced members are always ready to help with advice and practical assistance. New members are welcome and classes are held periodically if there are sufficient numbers interested.

The club owns a large compressor which members can use at the site.
